"On one of our many summer trips to Maine I sat in the car one morning parked by the ocean and sketched the idea for this painting. The kids scowered the rocky crevases for shells but this canvas became a traditional seascape. A day later we returned in the mist and I painted Jayson and Vanessa into 'Sea Walk'"
